Josie continues to enjoy passing on her positive enjoyment and knowledge of the creative process using clay and its related materials. Individual and small groups are welcome to book studio time to explore their own ideas or to extend their clay working skills and knowledge. Booking is invited for one off taster sessions or studio visits at regular intervals.

Commisioned to write, "The Complete Practical Potter" and "The Beginners Ceramic Handbook" her history, technique, technical overview and project books continue to sell in many countries including the U.K.

Her comprehensive knowledge of making and decorating using ceramic materials include:

  • throwing on a wheel
  • hand building using modeling, coiling and slab building technicques
  • model and mould making
  • surface decorating with ceramic materials and glaze
  • kiln packing and firing
  • general workshop and teaching practice

Enquiries are welcome for adult and children's teaching sessions for beginners or advanced students.

One off and/or a series of lessons or group workshops can be booked, taking place at her studio in Kilburn, in north west London.
